F1 chiefs gather to discuss rules, big changes expected for 2017

Do you know what bothers me? Different circuits! How are we supposed to know what a race is if they change the track every week. I say only one track allowed a season.

BLS is right - we should make suggestions that F1 might actually consider...

Drive-through penalties
Must be served by driving through a coned-off contraflow on the fastest part of the circuit.

Stop-go penalties
the driver must stop at a designated part of the track and order a happy meal. The driver must receive the meal at a 2nd booth, and may then rejoin the race. On reaching the designated littering zone, the driver must throw the happy meal out of the car.

Refuelling
the driver must get out and refuel the car themselves, and complete a "pay at pump" transaction.

The FIA really should be paying this forum a consultancy fee.

 

One race in and having had their arse handed to them now by Mercedes, Ferrari, Williams (and Sauber and Torro Rosso?) little Jack Horner and the Helmet have already thrown their toys out of the pram and are threatening to take the football home with them.

While F1 is arguably still quite boring, I do wish Jack Horner and Marko would just **** off. I don't have the time of day for either of them. Not particularly gracious in victory or defeat.
