Its up!

Personally, on my monitor, the right side looks ok, but I only get half an F in F1.

 

Looks OK on mine, I get the full width, the bottom half is behind the top of the forum but there's nothing we can do about that. Do you want it changed DHC or are you happy with the half F?

 

I'm not bothered to be honest! Just thought you were after some feedback. If its just me, don't worry! But if loads of people moan about it, then I guess consider it then. I like it, so don't bother changing it. The only thing I have noticed is the use of the F1 logo, which has a trademark symbol with it. If its trademarked, can this site legally use it? I'm not too certain on how the law works in that area?

I don't think we're breaking copyright, it's been edited quite a lot. I can't see why they'd object anyway. Should be fine.

 

Actually AG, editting the logo tends to be a breach of copyright, I'm not entirely sure, but I remember when I needed to Mozilla logo for some work, their website says you cannot alter the logo in any way, or display it too close to anything else. By using it on not606 you also indicate the two are linked. Again, it's positive advertising, which I thought was perfectly legal. I don't know. Any F1 fans around here happen to be a lawyer?

 

It probably is a breach but I doubt they'll care, I don't see why they should.

I'm sure El_Bando and BLS are law abiding citizens. One bent mod per team is acceptable.

On the side of copyright I'm sure if someone at the FIA or Bernie doesn't like us using it they'll say and it can easily be changed.

I have to say, I'm really liking the look of it now.

 

My notebook with the ridiculous display shows just the picture and the spikey edge of the '1'. Still looks good with bits missing, looking forward to looking at it on a real display when I'm back home.

 

Who said they are gunna find out! and surely it'll be okay as it is AG's work, but using the pictures.

And I think it looks good, but it needs to be a little smaller so we can see the F1 logo on the right

Mine is 10.1" and its not too bad, can see Vettel and Kobayashi's wheels just and cant see F but i'm not bothered. Its better than the ass (sorry my g and r broke)
