I sort of like it , but I don't think we will really know until we see it in natural daylight . Still hate lance ( Good though he is ) But if his dad etc can save AM , fine by me
I might be in the minority, but I like the green. Maybe it's because I've been so done with silver, black, white for so long now.
It’s quite close to painting the whole car the colour of the teal stripe from a Merc. Which would be appropriate.
I like the colour. I had a Mark 1 GT Cortini resprayed in a colour close to that (metallic bluey green) in the early 1970s. I loved that car. HOW 577D I think was the registration. It had Rostyle wheels and a clothes peg on the choke as the obligatory accessory.
Better than a handbag on the choke Reg no doesn't seem right as the mot checker doesn't like it or maybe it's been scrapped
I like it. Its very Aston Martin. Even the pink trim. Although the pink is nowhere near the BWT logo seems quite detached. With the late BWT announcement I wonder if the pink was originally red or lime green
1966 Mk1 Cortina, likely scrapped now. I enjoyed it though. Had a two seater Sunbeam Alpine before that, light blue. Can't remember that reg. I remember the reg of my Dad's Humber Hawk (back in the 50's) MGC 838, used to call it Black Magic. Remember my Dad turning the crank handle on cold mornings, the AA motor cyclists saluting us and the exhaust falling off just as we set off on holiday to Cornwall, think we had gone about a mile and a half.
Aaaah, the days when you could fix an exhaust with an empty can of beans and some study twine. Don't make em like they used to!
American team Haas have gone for the unusual choice of racing in Russian flag colours. I'm sure that'll go down great at home.
