It' not a contractual obligation but martini would prefer it to have a face in advert campaigns.
I THOUGHT it was official , but could not find it written anywhere .
I read that rule too.
Thats why massa was brought in 100%. you need an over 25 driver now.
Isn't this all just getting a bit silly. Why just make what you have softer?
You'd think they'd try at least to link it to some engineering principle.
Why don t they just name it something like awesome soft or whatever links to a pink colour if not.
I think they should call it MarketingSoft
We can only hope that it's not to late for the FIA to change their mind. A surprisingly in tune to fans fears interview with Hamilton.
Honda woulda used all theirs by R1 Q1
I like & Rate Bottas , but this is very telling IMHO from sir Patrick .
Interesting if slightly contradictory. He shouldn’t be bested in 1st corner, but Seb was heavily criticised for Singapore.
That aside, Bottas has very few close contact battles, and many result in contact.
No shocks at STR, Gasly and Hartley confirmed for 2018, which leaves just Williams and Sauber to announce their 2nd driver, I believe.
Rumours like wildfire. Kubica has signed a 2 year deal at williams
I just hope they're not dragging him through it all to get exposure
Only to then sign... Sirokin? No idea how his name goes, but that guy with all the monies.
McLaren have hired the winner of a cross platform eSports competition as a simulator driver. Dutch Rudy Van Buren, 20, is a former Netherlands karting champion who had to quit racing due to lack of financial backing.
Good luck to the lad, thought his dream had ended only to suddenly wake and find himself a driver at one of the most prestigious F1 teams.
They are denying it, he's doing the Abu Dhabi test though, so my guess is the rumour-mongers have got it slightly wrong
Reading rumours that sauber will be rebranded as Alfa Romeo and will announce driver line up this week. Either Giovinazzi or Ericsson to partner LeClerc
Question: Ericsson is in F1 because of backing he gets from his home town in Sweeden, His home town Kumla is also famous as the home of Mobile manufacturer Ericsson yet he has no affiliation to them? seems an opportunity missed
Do we really need this many?
yes, because economy and ecology. It's far better to have a load of different tyres that people aren't going to use than 3 that everyone will, in a parallel universe with completely different rules.
Who is going to come out of the pits with a super hard on?
