Was not aware of Hartley's history , if what Horner said is correct , fair play to him .

Horner is not my favourite person , but does talk a lot of sense . I agree with him 100% on the current engines .

I also agree with Tost in his response .

    go to approx. 24.45

Hartley just doesn't seem to have the right physicality, he looks too tall and willowy for modern F1 IMO. Good luck to him though.

If only they'd taken Ocon when they had the chance.

If Kvyat is being considered then Kubica is a shadow of his former self.

Massa has announced his retirement before his home GP.

There was a wonderful rumour that he was going to make the Brazilian GP his last, and Kubica would race in Abu Dhabi, but that seems to be pure fantasy. I don't think Kubica will race without a year-long contract, owing to the insurance payment Rosberg has mentioned.

"retiring". We all know he's been given the boot.

Still, glad he's seen sense and recovered some dignity and decided to haver a proper send off (again). He deserves that much.

He had become a bit of moaning old git this year and has hardly put Stroll in his place for the whole season, so no surprises and Williams really need to invest in their future.

If I were Williams, I'd probably take Kvyat. By far less risky than Kubica and di Resta, and if it all goes wrong you just dump him again and replace him with one of the others. He's well used to that.............

If they take Kyvat then they should arrange a deal with Red Bull to drop him for Austria. Make some extra money and get Max his 4th win.

They couldn’t though , because of his age . I do wish they tried to come to an agreement with Martini , for all I know , they did try .

He's young though, Martini might not like that, they want an over 25 for marketing purposes

Do we know the driver has to be over 25? Or is this just a press rumour with the media patting each other's backs? Has Williams cone out and confirmed this anywhere? From a marketing perspective surely being fast and on a podium maybe would be worth more than a receding hairline?

Claire Williams confirmed it in January when they were trying to replace Bottas: http://en.f1i.com/news/88025-age-criteria-imposed-sponsor-led-hectic-time-says-williams.html

The reasoning being it's not legal to use under 25's to promote alcohol. So Martini couldn't use a Williams driver in any advertising.

Kvyat is 23, The Dalai Palmer, Kubica and Di Resta are all old enough.
