The chaff that brings money will still get the drive unfortunately. How all of them cope with the torque will be interesting as a lot are just used to planting the throttle and nothing bad happening. Those with a it less finnesse could find themselves pointing the wrong way quite a lot. To be fair to Chilton, he didn't do a lot wrong in 2013. If Bianchi is that good as some make out, he was always going to get dicked. No worse than Vettel/Webber situation.
That sounds a lot like Kobayashi to me, if so I may just wear a nappy for a while in case I hear the confirmation in public, as I wish to avoid a public pants wetting situation.
Things are looking good for Ferrari. They've decided to use a water-air intercooler which is heavier but better for cooling. This means smaller sidepods, and therefore less drag which is good for fuel consumption.
So Ferrari have countered their featherweight engine with a heavy intercooler............. Do we know what kind of intercoolers the others have plumped for?
Kovi and Kobi would be the best options. Experience will count for a lot this year as the cars develop. I think Caterham really lost out last year having a novice and another relatively inexperienced driver. They should have been miles ahead of Marrusia but weren't.
Bouillier reckons the double points rule won't be overturned now. It needs a unanimous vote from all team principals to prevent it. Urgh
Said at the time.. but I'll say it again.. what a utter load of dung filled dung on a dung truck on its way to pick up more dung! What next, points for Pole Position, Points for laps lead, Points for quickest pitstop, points for getting most points.. its f**king pointless. Dear FIA, you've turned F1 into Formula Renualt but with less powerful, slower and worse sounding cars.. Insert expletive here : ___________
I'd have no issues with some points for qualifying as this may stop people from holding back in order to save tyres etc in Q3. The rest is bollocks and F1 may as well just hand itself over to the Americans to organise the sport.
The rule was created by the F1 strategy group, which is made of members of F1 teams... yet they have all pretty much said to the media they are against double points... even Ferrari!!! WHO IS IT!?!??!?!?!!!??!?!?!??!!??!?!?!?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????? ?!?!?!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah the double points rule. The one thing still crippling my enthusiasm about next season. "**** you Bernie Ecclestone" is all i've got left to say about it as this point.
All we need now is Tyres that last 5 laps, that will be the cherry on top of the (double points icing) cake! #farce
The easiest way to discover who the real perp is to focus on the team/s which will gain the most from this. I wouldn't care if it was Mercedes, I'm still not watching this season because of this double points **** as it proves the teams have lost touch with reality with the fans and are making F1 a living joke now. It's Abu Dhabi who have the double points system only, now who do Abu Dhabi support most with a nice red stadium next to the track? Yes Ferrari... Luca is a political manipulator and I would rather trust the Devil itself.
