Both Button and Kimi got a fair amount of points compared to their team mates. Button like 90% and Kimi 77%, they both even got a win in at least. I guess Kimi's defence was fairly poor in the grand scheme of things but Vettel's is becoming quite alarming.
Toto was right big punishment for Nico, not a slap on the wrists!!!!! [h=4]Rosberg under fire[/h]Posted at13:07"Mercedes have taken disciplinary action against Nico Rosberg following his collision with team-mate Lewis Hamilton in the Belgian Grand Prix. "Rosberg has accepted responsibility for the collision, the team said in a statement. Max fans rejoice: his seat is safe apparently http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115689 And in other news, looks like Merhi is going for a Caterham seat full-time: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115688 Can it be Ericsson who gets dropped? I swear if he crashes one more time he has to be in with a shout of getting his superlicence revoked.
McLaren and Honda are hoping to run a 2014 car with a Honda engine in the post season Abu Dhabi test according to Boullier.
Vettel is due to get another new chassis for Singapore it seems, is that his 4th or 5th? Never tried this with Webber please log in to view this image
Revealed, Vettel's chassis thus far this season: #1 - ****ty Susie #2 - Awful Annie #3 - Rubbish Rebecca #4 - Krappy Kylie
the new chassis are still not getting him in front of Danny. Im preuming these new chassis are also lighter each time + his own weight advantage... Its not a good look for seb at the moment
I think Vettel did alright at Monza. Ricciardo only just beat him and I think overall their strategies both has positives and negatives.
I don't know, Vettel just kind of seemed in his own little race on Sunday. He out qualified Ricciardo and then did nothing essentially wrong all race :s please log in to view this image
The big news this morning is that FOM want to clamp down on what they see as "shepherding" from the pit wall by restricting the type of messages that can be broadcast over pit radio. Because that worked out so well last time...
Vettel did nothing wrong, but on that basis, Ricciardo must have done something very right to beat him! It seems Ricciardo has Vettel for race pace at the moment, it doesn't matter where they qualify or who has a good/bad start, Ricciardo is in front at the end. The kid is good.
Lotus have admitted they have made a mistake with their chassis design and promise next year they will be back on it.
Joe Saward has an interesting take on the Montezemelo issue: http://joesaward.wordpress.com/2014/09/09/enjoying-the-real-world/
