Not sure what you're talking about... But I would have won in China had it not rained in qualifying, Webber hadn't been driving like a tool, had Hamilton not Hamilton'd me on the last lap, my setup hadn't prevented me from getting close enough to use DRS and also pretty sure that my primes were duds... Oh, and I'd forgotten to put on my lucky grundies to boot!
If you have an Xbox, save your money and get Forza Motorsport 4. A much more detailed and rounded racing experience. Much better multiplayer experience and options to tune car set-up for different tracks etc. after last years F12010 experience il not be back
I have the opposite. Since playing F1 2010 i cant enjoy other racing games. They just feel too slow. What was so bad about it anyway? There were niggling issues sure but no "ill never play it again" kind of problems.
Was a yawnfest. The whole experience round it was too bland, options too limited. The gameplay was unrealistic and inconsistent, never mind the amount of bugs the game had. I prefer the mathmatical precision of tuning cars to different tracks, weighing up if a swap to a AWD drivetrain instead of a RWD would be more beneficial, trying to get the car to maximum performance but trying to stay within a set performance parameter all that sort of stuff. Maybe it is influenced by the fact that I prefer the ALMS and endurance racing like that to F1 anyway. The sound of the Corvette C6R engine bellowing through the surround sound is infinitely more satisfying than the the game's poorly simulated whine of the current crop of F1 V8s

Actually I use a wheel, except that it's a cheap one that's on its last legs. One of the shifter paddles seems to have stopped working (hence the auto gears) and the pedals are really small so it's hard to avoid wheel spinning when I'm trying to use my size 13 feet on them (hence the traction control). I've ordered a new one which should turn up in a few weeks. I might get a bit more brave with my settings when it does. Although the main reason I use a wheel is to avoid what some reviewers have called 'twitch steering'.
i can see your problem, seem similar to that of using a controller, not enough travel in the accelerator. Monaco and Suzuka are a bit of a nightmare on a controller due to all the medium speed corners, I think i used up the worlds supply of front wings at monaco, and finally died at the swimming pool. my favourite tracks so far are Monza (always) spa (always) canada, Brazil and surprisingly hungary.
I'm currently in my first season, driving for HRT on intermediate difficulty (just to get to grips with the game), and i have a set-up dilemma for canada. It's monstrously wet, but if i put a wet setup on, i can't keep up on the straights, and if i put a dry setup on, i have no grip in the corners. Either way, it's lose-lose.
I'm not sure that I've noticed that much difference with fuel loads. I seem to be able to go much better early on with options and a full load than primes with a dwindling load. I've only had chance to do 3 Grand Prix though...
Hi guys, I wonder if anyone can offer up some advice. I intend getting hold of this game fairly soon and am contemplating whether or not to get a wheel to play it with. I have F1 2009 on the Wii and playing this the Wii wheel feels much more involving than using the XBox pad in games like Forza Motorsport et al... If the opinion is to get a wheel to play the game with I wonder what wheel or set up to go for? I notice Microsoft have a wireless wheel coming out in a couple a weeks (to coincide with Forza 4) and am leaning towards to waiting for it. I'm not sure if I'd really want the pedals to play the game with.... Any advice much appreciated.
Got a knee op next week, can't think of a better way to pass my 10 days of time off Learned my lesson though this time, getting it on xbox and not PS3
hope they sort out the front nose problem, the amount of times i see someone behind me with no front wing keeping up the same pace lol
There is a super setup. A massive BUG has been found by users. To make it easy for you go to your suspension and then set both front and rear springs to 11. This will make everything easier this makes you shave a full 6 SECONDS off your best laptime. And use DRS through Eau Rouge. But where's the fun in that? As for the question on wheels.... Beats me. I'm still trying to figure which, if any to get myself.
Has any tried to use DRS while going up Eau Rouge? I have always spun and crashed into the barriers when I've tried to do it
Well then, Lewis, it's a shame that you won't be able to exploit this bug (Mummy hasn't bought him the game yet). At least his parents are doing something right.
