The reason we lost the game was quite simple. Their manager got his tactics absolutely spot on. He pulled ten men behind the ball when we were in possession and closed us down so that all we could do was pass sideways across the pitch. In fact he did a Peter Taylor at all set pieces near to their goal and brought back all eleven. They completely stiffled our play and that has been the first time this season that a team has done it so successfully. They deserved their win.
