still do we can play and compete against most in this league they are not miles better ... you will see a lot of odd results this year in Prem this year and next as anyone outside top 5 can beat each other ... look at what has happened so far I will be proved right you will see
Whilst I agree that we'll be OK Oddball, it does come across as a wee bit silly trying to make excuses for what was simply a pathetic performance. All three promoted sides now sit side by side right in the middle of the table with 8 points from 7 games. All are competing thus far.
Since when were Fulham a "very good side"? A decent Prem team maybe, but one which before today's game have only scored more than 1 goal in a single game and, I think, conceded in all but one of their previous league games. Yes, they played to their maximum, but we sadly didn't show up. Of course it's easy to be negative, but the lack of cutting edge up top is starting to concern me!!
Not making excuses but we knocked it around well however when we lost it Fulham were very very clinical and in no time we were three down. I thought it was very much a spider and fly match ... We responded each time we went down in a naive way maybe they knew this and they know how to soak pressure and made it look easy then when the time was right they bit us. The score had little to do with it as we lost the game at 3-0 . Also the Bolton game had the same pattern where no one could put their finger on why every time Bolton went forward they scored. Fulham just played very very well and knew how to handle us their team is full of experience and they look comfortable as they did against Man City. I didn't think we were pathetic at all maybe toothless but as with the Wolves game when we score we can go on and thrash teams and i guess i will state that we will ... maybe Blackburn will get spanked by us and all will be forgotten ... plus by th etime we meet Fulham again we will be qualified even with our old players playing ... Mackie looks hungry ... we have just had a slap and as a old gypsy fighter myself I know that can be a good lesson for the overall position which of course will be eighth
Thing is, next time I watch Fulham play Liverpool or Chelsea or any other team I ****ing despise, and I'm cheering them on, Johnson will have ten shots nine of which will end up in the ****ing Thames. The other in row ZZ. They just clicked today, and we were shight.

Our defence is the problem and I'm not surprised if guys like barton are having a dig. colin complains about depth and how we can't afford any injuries or suspensions but he's created problems for himself by getting rid of gorkss and hill. They should've played instead of that useless mug hall and orr. We may have still lost but I know who I'd rather have at the back.
