I welcome your tuppence but unfortunately you are very wrong. The Celtic support has a large Republican presence which objects to the queen ruling over a part of the island of Ireland. she has rewarded those who have undertaken heinous acts on her behalf in the north of Ireland. To suggest that our dislike of her and her institution has any sectarian undertones, overtones or anything at all of that nature is quite frankly ludicrous.

Who said anything about the 'troubles'? The Republican ideal didn't end with the Good friday agreement. For clarity, I am not using it as an excuse for the behaviour of the Celtic support. It is an absolutely legitimate stance to take.
The lesson was badly-judged. So if they're not going to stick to racism as their initialisation implies what else are they going to investigate? Sexism? Homophobia? Official abuse (after all they are a minority too). And they're enough politically-correct regulators without having one that goes the "extra mile". As for racism being an ever-changing word, I didn't know it was. To me it simply means prejudicial thinking or behaviour dictated by race. And there is no such race as Catholic or Irish. Anybody who tries to use racism to make a less serious complaint somehow more credible is being disingenuous.
