IF ITS RAINY IM WORRIED THAT THESE PRESTON WILL DO SOME DAMAGE

I GET 170 LOVELY POUND NOTES IF WE WIN BUT QPRBETH MUST PUT A MAGICAL SPELL FROM HER WITCHES BROOM

no i took bad odds because if we draw i could get my 400 back,the best odds you can get is evens but then you risk losing your origional money this way i cant
lose unless we lose
does that makes sense put the luck of the irish on me you old devil you

well my bookie dosnt realise I have the magical lepracaun who puts on me the luck of the irish
i also have the magical witch qprbeth
so with all this luck and magic what chance is there for poor preston north end
but all the worry is sending me round the bend
i lost five hundred last season with a simular bet and forest beat us at home
so give me more luck finlasqpr you magical little gnome
 
yes qpr1976 thankyou for clarifying that im not much good at betting i usually get well and trully stuffed and,then stay away from the bookies for a year,but i might actually win this one

Hate to see or read a man being parted from his money, but an increased attention to the correct use of caps lock would engender a greater degree of compassion in the outraged pedant.

Good Luck Ted but I can only imagine that squeaky bum time is well under way.
 
Ted - Sorry about the outcome. Did you ever consider having a smaller covering bet on Preston to win? I imagine their odds might have been 9/4 (or better) away from home? In my family situation with 5 kids, that would be a ****load of money to lose.

WELL BASICALLY I DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND BETTING BUT BUT THE MAN IN THE SHOP SAID THEY WOULD TAKE BETS RIGHT UP TO THE 85THMINUTE,SO IF I EVER BET AGAIN THATS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD FOR ME I LOST 500 LAST SEASON AND 400 THIS SEASON THATS 900 POUNDS I COULD HAVE BOUGHT A NEW VAN WITH THAT MY OWN VEHICLE IS ONLY WORTH 400 POUNDS
BUT IM NOT SURE THAT I WILL BET AGAIN AT ALL THIS SEASON IVE GOT MY FINGERS BURNT WITH THIS BET

I feel for you that you lost your bet Ted. You know the old saying, there is no such thing as a free lunch. The trick is to learn from your mistakes. Gambling really is a mugs game.
 
Yes gambling is a mugs game if you don't know what you're doing but there are plenty of pro punters making a good living.
Ted put all his eggs in one basket, that's a lottery but it could have gone his way.
Best to have a betting bank and only bet 5% of it on each bet. But most importantly stick to what u know. At least in teds case it's a lesson learned .... hopefully
 
yes ive learned my lesson for this season but next season ,ill go off my head again and lose another load of money .you cant teach an old dog new tricks

I'm sure that I can point you towards a number of get rich quick schemes if you're interested, Ted? For instance, my Nigerian acquaintance, General Ichabod K'dogo, needs a UK bank account into which he wants to deposit $30 billion for a short time. He says that 10% is yours. All you need to do is provide him with you bank details, a copy of your passport and your inside leg measurement.
