    <laugh>

Think about that. You reckon disrupting threads in your anti-DMD vendetta is a way of driving off the only mod on-line? <doh>

So, having admitted (which you'll now no doubt wriggle away from) that you're being deliberately disruptive, and as your friends have admitted in the past to posting 'bait' to start these types of abuse, it justifies shifting your dross. Cheers.<ok>

That doesn't make any sense what so ever.

Two very simple question to answer, a yes or no will suffice.

    1. Did you post nasty, abusive, unprovoked comments aimed at Brady not to long back?

    2. Is posting nasty, abusive, unprovoked comments aimed at another poster showing a lack of respect?

The answer to both should be yes and shows you for what you are.

I am fairly neutral in this as although I have had dis-agreements with DMD, I have also turned to him as a MOD to sort some issues out. I have asked MODs to delete my own posts simply because I have gone off on one and there is no pint in clogging up threads with my ****.

My view is that MODs on here allow some posters to regularly upset threads with abuse of posters that is beyond what is acceptable. There are posts on here that go beyond the pale with racist and politically motivated comments and the fact is that they are simply ignored and when challenged there often appears to be some actual support.

There are some trolls on this forum at the moment and they get away with too much. There has been a suggestion that DMD in particular is mates with some of the offenders and does not want to upset them so he lets them off the hook. DMD has been accused of manipulating threads and subject titles, his defense is either that it was not him or he did it to "tidy up" and that all MODs on all forums do this.

In my view, DMD I do not see what you are getting out of being a MOD on here, you spend more time defending your style of moderation than in actual posting about Hull City and football.

OLM stood down as a MOD because it interfered with his ability to post with freedom. Perhaps DMD you need to consider what you want to do, spend your time on here as you wish, but sometimes in life it is better to walk away rather than fight your corner.

It makes perfect sense, the question was asked and answered at the time. To save you burbling on, the answer is still no, so I guess that means you'll witter on about it again and again.

At least your tedious anti-DMD disruption's limited to this one thread. I guess that's progress from you.

You do realise, when you've dragged stuff like this up before, people got bored very quickly, and I doubt it's got any more interesting.

You clearly have issues, some of which are with me. I've already mentioned I was considering stepping down. Stuff like this makes it unlikely to impossible to occur. Bullies like you, unfortunately mean the boards need moderators. Sad, but there it is.

I don't disagree with much of that. The dilemma is, I can't step down at the moment as it would leave us modless at a time some less considerate posters have said they will continue to disrupt the board.

I also feel a responsibility to other mods and posters, not to let a few people with issues spoil one of the busiest boards on the network as these people may feel the need to try again if they can't get their own way with the next mod. THEY are the ones with the issues. I'm just the cleaner.

Quite frankly you have no business being a Moderator on this forum or any other. You don't possess the necessary people skills to do the job and you seem to think your status gives you the right to strut around puffing your chest out and being Billy Big Bollocks.

I moderate on two websites, both with highly active fora, and I can tell you from a position of knowledge that the way you "moderate" this forum is wrong. As a moderator you lead by example and treat board users with total respect at all times. Even when they need ticking off or redirecting. You are plainly incapable of doing that as you appear to do nothing but sneer at the vast majority of posters on here. You are only a moderator, not a Managing Director of a FTSE company. Get some perspective, get some humility, and let someone take over who is actually capable of doing the job.

    The answer is no?

Jesus wept man, loads of us saw it.

    Are you seriously denying it?

This is new low, it's rock bottom.

As for disrupting threads? I will challenge things that I feel are wrong. Have a look at Agrons signature.

Thing is if you'd have just put your hands up the next morning and said it was an error in judgement and apologised I honestly don't think it would ever have been mentioned again.
You appear incapable of doing such.

One last point before I go to play golf, how many other posters have called me a bully?

Now ask yourself how many times you have been called that on here.

Why don't you all meet face to face instead of all this keyboard warrior ****. It's pretty ****ing childish. Perhaps if some of you didn't post such ****e, then there wouldn't be a need for the posts to be moderated in the first place.

It's worth pointing out that, apart from threads such as these with the usual names and comments, the rest of the board seems to be getting along swimmingly.

Sorry, but there are some real knob heads posting on here. Hysterical fannies crying because some post or thread has been allegedly altered. What a set of fannies, seriously, more in life to worry about than a futile vendetta, these people need to get a ****ing grip. They do realise this is just a forum, don't they?

Nowt to do with me I know.

    All this arguing is stupid

If I was you DMD I would resign and put yourself up as a candidate.

If you get voted back in then no one can complain about anything .

I sure wouldn't be a mod on here if I was paid !

    Cheers Filey.

There's a few problems with that, one is timing. Rather than re-election, I had been considering stepping down, but as a few have confirmed they're content to disrupt the board, now is not the time to step down.

We've had similar votes in the past, but that didn't stop the grumbles.

The issue is some people feeling they should be allowed to disrupt threads with impunity. Me being there or not won't change that. They'll either disrupt threads, which annoys a lot of people, or be taken to task for it, which results in threads like these.

What about the abuse I got last night on the "Poll for additional mod post." thread? I got called a "twisted fetus" and other strange, grotesque ****e. Isn't that considered disrupting a thread?

It's mindless abuse if nothing else. I don't read every post, and even some of the ones I do read don't always register with me. If there's an issue that's upset you, the best way is to PM one of us with a link to the post in question and we'll look at it.

Why don't we try it and see?

I think it's more a case that your actions have ground on people over a long period to the point where the smallest thing blows up. You seem to be at the centre of all these spats so it seems the logical thing to do to try someone else.

Threads always have and always will drift off topic, it never seems to become a problem until it's something you don't like and you start chopping and moving things about with childish titles.

I also don't see why replacing you would pose any sort of problem, we wouldn't just unseat you and leave the throne empty, we would elect a new tyrant in your place to do the moderating. It's not like if you got voted out the board would be left unmoderated.

I'm not really arsed about it, I'd just like to see some consistency from you. You've deleted posts on this forum that you say are disruptive and abusive yet you allow Blampey and others to abuse who they want. Carmine, Happy Tiger and Mr. Hat have been punished for far-less things in my opinion, they're nowhere near as crude and disgusting as some of the **** I've witnessed on this forum.

I've deleted post and PM'd posts from the people you say I allow to abuse...the difference seems to be that they didn't interupt other threads complaining.

If you see something you don't like, PM with a link and it'll be looked at. IF there's bias, if anything I delete LESS of the ones you claim I 'punish' to save the board being further cluttered with 'outraged of pinner' type posts.

You've raised an issue there about something you claim not to be arsed about, maybe it's a good job it slipped through after all.
