Ok, this will probably throw some flames on the fire. I can understand how Noblelox feels. This has been a very trying season for all of us - Owners, Management, Players and not least fans. However, if we don't stand together the whole thing is worthless.

No Kenny is not bigger than the club. He has no innate right to manage the club but neither do some fans have the right to pillory him because events have not transpired in our favour.

We started the season with high hopes and a very new squad. It would have been very lucky if all of our signings had hit the ground running and we had had no long-term injury problems. Yet for the majority of the season, our 4th place target was still possible and we have reached the final of both cup competitions open to us. In reality this can be counted as success. We have proved that we have the basis within the squad to challenge next season. Even those players who have not achieved the levels that we would have hoped for this season will be the better for this experience next season. We can still add more quality to the squad over the Summer.

We all know that luck appears to have deserted us this season. No other side has created so many chances per game and no other club have hit the woodwork so many times. We have played some startling football - both home and away. Even visiting managers have admitted that their teams have been dominated (unfortunately they have also taken away points).

The whole Suarez affair has taken more out of the club than I believe than most of us would care to admit. I have to agree (with hindsight) that some things could have been handled much better. it has also confirmed a bias against Liverpool as a club in the media. Some may think that I'm just chanting a victim mantra but i would counter that by asking them to demonstrate positive headlines regarding the quality of our play.

It has been a very very frustrating season and personally win or lose on Saturday I will be glad to see the back of it. However, I am already beginning to get excited about the possibilities for next season.

Nobody 'hates' Kenny. Infact we all love him. But I like many others dont think he is capable of taking us to higher ground.

Kenny should get at least one more season. We all know that building successful teams take a little while. Look at Man City - they have unlimited resources but yet it took them a couple of years to really assert their dominance.

Then there are teams like Newcastle who have simply bought the right players and have played well. Who knows - may be Ba and Cisse will suffer from second season syndrome?

One thing is for sure, Kenny is a winner. He's played in and managed winning teams, at the highest levels. He knows what it takes to win and the attitude and skill it takes.

Do people think he is happy with the way the team are performing in the league? I can assure you, he will want to rectify this in the summer by bringing in the right players.

Also, the new signings have had a season together and will get a pre-season to implement new tactics etc. This is invaluable experience now - perhaps the shock of playing for LFC was too much as time passes, they will grow accustomed.

With regards to the OP - I think he is a little harsh but I can understand his points. At the end of the day, everyone wants the club to succeed. FACT.However, fans want to do it in different ways whether it be sticking with the manager and growing organically, or chopping and changing managers, bringing in new personnel etc. Is there a wrong way? No there isn't. Would I be happy if we were in MCFC's shoes right now? Hell yeah I would!

I think the older generation fans would like to see us replicate the days of Shankly and Paisley where we did things properly. However, the modern era is dictated by money and it is extremely difficult to sustain success without splashing the cash. E.g Newcastle have done extremely well so far but will they perform next season? Will they keep their players? Will they attract better players?
