F A cup, why

    Such a shame, that what was once the showpiece and final curtain of the English football season has now been devalued because of the big money Premier League and Champions League.

    Surely they could have had all of the league fixtures played on Sunday, leaving Saturday for what was once traditionally, Cup Final Day

    I fear that the FA Cup will never recover from the damage made to it's reputation by the big money League and European matches, that are club managers priorities these days.

    Now if the winners of the FA Cup were awarded a Champions League place, how seriously would managers take the competition then?.....
