Dammit, I was hoping for the void in which all joy goes to die a slow, horrible death that is Colchester
Away to the Smoggies, never been to the new ground but Ayersom park and the " Chicken run" was a sight to forget
United away at The Yam Yams....where they went out last season. Currently, it looks like history might repeat itself.
They're not doing very well this season, due to budget cuts. Got demolished by Leeds on the weekend, so we might not actually face Woodgate.
In Utd's Treble season, we played five other PL teams in the F.A.Cup including Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and a then half decent Newcastle. In the CL, we were in the same group as Barcelona and Bayern Munich and then played Inter, Juventus and Bayern (again). Not all Trebles are equal.
Whenever the pundits talk about "haven't won any trophys" they never mention that Citeh never draw a PL team until the semis, or maybe even the final. Then they use Citeh's hoovering up of the "lesser" trophy's as (1) obvious because of the brilliance of Citeh's squad (2) obvious because of Citeh's brilliant manager but NOT (3) because they've got dodgy financing for all the money they go through and never have to play anyone decent until the last couple of games. They then go onto criticise managers of other teams for not having won anything.
