the guy said nugent was your best player which tells me a lot! no way nugent is better than any of holt, morison or vaughan - similar to jackson but without the pace. wellens is actually a good player but would be a squad player and don't make me laugh about beckford - the guy is a primadona. konchesky is absolutely awful!! matt mills was someone i wouldn't have minded us signing in the summer but on the evidence so far i think it was a bullet dodged, especially at that price!

 

Schmeichel wouldn't. He's nowhere near as good as Ruddy as he's such a liability and we've got reserve keepers who will almost certainly play for England one day. No way is Nugent better than the Prem's youngest ever goalscorer. Konchesky maybe at the moment, but he wouldn't fit into our side as well as Mad Marc, so when he's fit Konchesky wouldn't be in. No way is Beckford, a failed Everton striker, good enough to go in ahead of Holt or Morison. Matt Mills is a quality defender, but he's not good enough on the ball for our style, so wouldn't get in ahead of Whitbread, Ward, Ayala, or by the sounds of things Bennett.

Even if I'm not right, you've only named five players, one of who you're telling us is better than our fourth striker... pretty much an acceptance that your team is worse!!

PS- just saw your team list you reckon will be playing us- if Mills is so good, why is he on your bench?

Schmeichel- Liability He is the best keeper outside the prem and he is better then Ruddy. Sven said there is much difference between him and Joe Hart. Schmeichel will one day end up at Man U

Nugent is prem class and is better then Vaughan. Just because he is the youngest prem goalscorer that doesnt mean anything. Nugent has played 1 game for England and scored 1 goal. Vaughan has never got close to the England set up because he cant get a run of games.

Beckford is hardly failed, he finished Evertons top scorer and he was a bit part player for the rest of the season. Did you see his goal against Chelsea which shows his class. They only sold him because they needed the money with the bank putting pressure on them.

Matt Mills is a quality defender but i agree his passing is awful and that is the only thing preventing him from joining a prem club.

Schmeichel, Bamba, Mills, Konchesky, Drinkwater, Nugent and Beckford would all get into your team.

If you think they are crap you will get a shock come saturday. But Drinkwater cant play as he is cup tied

 

Right we can carry on arguing until the cows come home. There is only 2 days left until the game and you will see we are no pushovers and how good our players are. Its anybodys game.

 

Being a good player is far more than just technical skill, you must also be good physically and mentally as well. Maybe some of your players do have more technical ability but ours have much more then that, in particular an excellent mentality which makes them considerably better than yours. To say all your players are better than Norwich's is absurd and if you wouldn't swap any of our players for yours you are crazy!

 

All a matter of opinion so no point arguing over which players are better.

BUT, you still have only named six players who would get into our eighteen man squad. Our entire eighteen man squad would get into yours bar probably Barnett and Wiblraham, so that's sixteen players...

Even as a true blue Ipswich fan I can see that Norwich will wipe the floor with Leicester. To say that any player from the Leicester team could walk in to the current Norwich team is just plain ridiculous!

 

in terms of quality you are correct, but this is the fa cup to be fair, so strange things can happen. still, the whole point of this thread seems to be pointing out that leicester have better players than norwich which is bordering on insanity

 

Having stood back and watched this piece of humourless wumming unfold, I can only wish it had been started on the Norwich board so that I could close it! It has no point other than to stir up problems in another teams fans! Very disappointing!

They held us to a draw at their place and were unlucky not to win that day! They are only a few points ahead of us in the championship and they got beat at Watford the other night! Just proves how much quality they've got!

i don't think any norwich fans think that leicester's players are poor, its just this notion that you have better players that grinds with us when it is pretty obvious to anyone with any football nous that they don't. leicester have spent an awful lot of money in the past two years and so it is inevitable you will have some decent players. however, sven seemed to go down the old route of buying players with reputations rather than whether they can actually do the business or gel as a team. its similar to how qpr have approached the premier league and it rarely works - i call it car crash management.

its exciting at first but you just know its going to end up as a write-off
