Anyway back to the original topic - Fa cup tie against Burton Albion Obviously we need to avenge that defeat but the best side won on the night, no complaints from me. Will obviously be pissed off if we lose again but the old cliche 'rather concentrate on the league' rings true!
This time we will have more first teamers in then we did before. I think Nigel will want to set the record straight against them
Would take a 10-0 loss against Burton if it means we get promoted. Unfortunately the cup has lost it's 'anyone can win it' tag.
ACTUALY , i never passed one bloody exam gce, O level, A level Cant Spell , dont even know what the f a verb or a noun is.. Lol
I just want us to beat Burton then get a big team away. We have had decent draws in the last 2 seasons with Man City and Chelsea Arsenal away would do nicely this year. Or Liverpool away as we would have a decent chance of pulling off an upset
I wouldn't laugh, that's really quite concerning. Almost as concerning as knowing that someone in Leicester rims horses.
I imagine Arsenal will be going for the Fa cup this year - Arsne needs a trophy this season as the natives are getting wrestless
But i know where the best places are to stick lobster pots from flamborough to cromer, where to put sole nets and salmon nets, best bait for lobster / crab, how to gut fish and work a winch. best places to stick welk pots how to make nets and lobster pots etc ,i dont get sea sick and though i left school before exams iv only not worked for 5 years since i left school.. Just hated school to be honest and avoided it as much as i could...
anyway FA Cup I would take 3 points in a league game over an fa cup 3rd round win.. we have no chance of winning the fa cup BUT a decent chance of promotion...
As a fan the FA Cup is purely a chance to go to one of the bigger grounds (Anfield, Old Trafford, Etihad, Stamford Bridge etc) without having the pay the prices you would have to if it was a Premiership match
Hopefully in a strange way of looking at it - we might be paying those prices next season if - repeat if we get promoted but long way to go yet
we should BOTH get into the 4th round so maybe an away day at Man utd / Man city and a big pay day for our clubs would help to fund someone new being signed... FA CUP was exciting when Hull City were in the 3rd and 4th divisions, only chance we had to see a big team play.. Now its Promotion we all crave and the FA CUP seems not so important.... Or maybe thats just how i look at it... have a good week ALL Hull City Fans and ALL Leicester City fans...
... one of my earliest downers watching City was a 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Orient back in the early 70's at Filbo .... by contrast one of the best days out I've ever had watching City was winning the second division championship at their place in '81 ... 15,000 travelling support ... I kid you not ... the official gate was only just over 15k but huge numbers got in free after some likely lads opened the large exit doors at the away end from the inside about 10 mins before kick-off ...
Arsenal will need to get a result at Swansea for that to happen ... and if both teams play like they did no Saturday we'd be booking a trip to South Wales ...
