Teenage forward Eberechi Eze has become the latest QPR youngster to be given a new contract

Osman Kakay, Olamide Shodipo and several other young players at Loftus Road have been given new deals this season and Eze, 18, has now had his contract extended to the summer of 2019.

Eze has impressed in Under-23 matches since being signed in the summer after leaving Millwall.

He has scored nine goals in 14 starts and was on the substitutes’ bench for the first-team’s recent win at Wolves.

“I’m very happy to sign a new contract,” he told Rangers’ website.

“It’s a great boost for me, because I feel like I’ve really developed here since arriving in August.”

Manager Ian Holloway could give Eze his senior debut in today’s FA Cup third-round tie against Blackburn Rovers.

Bet he does start today!

And theres his song...we could not ask for more

Great choice of song. Lets hope there are enough people in the ground for him to hear it. He might just be the answer. Does he play as a lone front man?

He's gone off hurt - badly. It's what happens when you insult somebody and call him with somebody else with a song like that has nothing to do with him! <doh>

Shame the lad had to go off. He looked good in his brief appearance, very comfortable on the ball. One for the future.

One of the commentators said at HT that he was our best player, even though he only played for 13 minutes.

He didn't have a lot of competition, sadly. He seemed to be in the number 10 role, coming quite deep to pick the ball up. I'm keen to see more of him.

He started well..although appeared to be playing in midfield mostly.
Sort of fell over clutching his leg with no one around, tried to play on, but sensibly Ollie pulled him off, he didn't want to go.

QPR Curse of the 3rd Round...

We have now equalled for the worst club exit from FA round 3.

Read my post Ted.Gillingham fans hate him... he is a disruptive influence.
Which was why he was shipped out according to the "open all r's" podcast a few weeks back. Something to do with his birthday party and some of the eds squad. No specific details were given, just inferences suggesting he not darken our doorstep any further.

Bogle is one of the most sought-after players in the January window, having scored 18 goals so far this season, making him the leading marksman in League Two.

Nottingham Forest, Norwich, Wigan and Barnsley have all been linked with a move for the 23-year-old during this month's transfer window.
According to HITC Sport, however, Rotherham have attempted to steal a march by tabling an offer of £850,000 as they look to win the race for his signature.
