As an avid fan of the sport I am obviously not going to say i think it should be banned. However, i don't agree with excessive whipping and can't stand the Grand National on the basis that it gives those who don't like racing all the ammunition they need to call for it to be banned. This year's race was a great example. That said, when you have a jumper at the top of his game it's an awesome sight.
Heard nothing - it's just that i haven't had a pop at anyone who has died for about a week and was suffering from withdrawal symptoms.
