Kelly is the the club captain elect for me - the outstanding candidate to take us forward.

He did seem to be the natural successor to Carey as captain, I'm glad to say that I have finally woken up from the nightmare I must have dropped off in front of the PC because I was sure that I had read that NK had been appointed captain this year but I've checked all the threads here and looked on the OS and there is nothing there. I'm not Kelly's biggest fan but I did hold out a degree of hope he'd be decent in L1, especially as Marv seems injured - again.

Midfield is where we will struggle this season - the kids and Kilkenny - UGHH.

I've read that Kilkenny actually passed the ball FORWARD last night.
I didn't see it in the highlights but I did note his girl-like attempt at tracking back.
Seems Kilkenny is going to start in SOD's new 'possession' system.
I just hope I'm wrong about the moaning bast*rd.

We could all be wrong about Kilkenny RP. L1 could/seems to be his level. Lets hope he helps with promotion and we don't renew his contract because he certainly isn't championship standard!

I think this maybe killas level i think leeds fans said when he signed he had a good season in there promotion year but was less effective when they were back in the championship they more or less described him how we know him now, as for kelly thats a nig old blow thought he would be a big asset this season but he will be back for the 2nd part assuming all goes well knees are funny things!

<wah> will nothing go right for us <wah>

Just get on with it. We have a massive injury list, yet you are crying about this? No excuses mind, when you get relegated again this season ;)

'We could all be wrong about Kilkenny RP'

L1 will obviously be easier than the Championship for Kilkenny.
With Marv and Kelly in midfield Kilkenny might, I said might, get by.
However he'll be surrounded by other lightweights and kids at that.
    Not hopeful at all.

Oh how we'll laugh (again) when your expected good season dissolves in to a ****-bath as usual...back to avoiding the conference by Xmas.

Let the big boys talk about proper football and you worry about paying your bunch of rejects for the season..
