Sonny Bradley was out of contract at the end of this season but said on twitter he had signed a new 2 year deal with the club!
Didn't Bruce say a month or 2 ago that McShane will get a new contract no matter what league we are in?
Daws is being offered one, it's a playing contract but linked with him doing more on the coaching side also.
What? Why? I mean I love the guy and I would Definitely support him been offered a coaching role but as a Player? He hardly got a game all season at Championship Level.
It sort of makes sense, to have him as a coach but available as a player, like Kilbanne and Barmby last season (although Barmby played a fair bit) He won't get any game time at all unless we have some sort of major emergency and then he'd get used, and to play a bit in the reserves to help them out a bit.
Love Daws but his time at City is now up. Can't see him going to another Club (may be wrong) so coaching/ambassador role would suit him IMHO.
I hope he does get the coaching role. I think SB has been talking to him about this for a while but it was dependant on promotion. I thought he might not take it though because he'd want to carry on playing as much as he can.
From what I know, the new contract was offered regardless of which division we would be in next season. I don't know for certain he has or will accept it, but imagine he will.
I can see the sense in offering him a coaching role, but I'm surprised if we're bother to register him as a player, he hasn't managed to make it into our Championship team in the past six months.

All clubs need players like Andy Dawson and its good to know that SB rates him that highly. Also, Our Reserves will now play in the Barclays Premier Reserve League and Andy Dawson would be a perfect fit to play with our kids as his experience would be most welcome. A role model without a doubt. AD legs have gone sadly for the PL, but who is to say that an FA Cup 3rd round game to a non league or league 2 side may just get Andy Dawson one last start in a Hull City ****. Just a thought.
