If I had to put money on us signing one out-of-contract player, it'd be De Laet as he seems to tick all the boxes. We need depth in defence and he's very versatile, he'd probably be happy to join us, and he'd probably play pretty well too. I have a feeling Miyaichi and McEachran may be a little too optimistic.

Don't think he is as good as some people think, he did not impress me at Liverpool, don't think he is the way forward.

Well I disagree with that. He didn't have the best of times at Liverpool, but they didn't put their faith in him and most of his appearances were off the bench and not in his best position. He's shown what he can do enough times in his career and it sounds like his time at Lille has been a success. My only concern is that Liverpool may decide they'd like to keep him.

I was interested in this myself, thought I'd read something, somewhere, sometime..Only found this from Sky though, looks like Radhi wants to be the gaffer so maybe we'll see him in League 1 or 2 in the near future. Would be a shame to lose him, hope he sticks around for a little while at least..

It'd be good to see him managing to be fair, just to see a bit of diversity in the trade. Too many whiteys.
