No because that would involve worrying about relegation. Man has a point - it's just nice to look forward to matchday with a modicum of excitement and hope as opposed to fear & dread

So now that we've covered the what happiness the stone ages can we confirm our expectations please?

 

First

 

5th to 7th

 

100% effort.

 

I think they give that.

Sometimes we are just a bit nieve!

 

That’s all I ask for.

I obviously get disappointed from time to time with results but not with the players efforts.

 

I expected to improve the first team not spend our money on reserve full backs.

 

Hall is a 1st 11 player

 

I'll only accept anything below 10 points clear at the top, if we win the champions league

 

It ain't crisis central yet, remember we only had 8 points after 8 games last season.

Would be very happy to get 4th again, but it definitely looks like it'll be more of a struggle this season with Liverpool and Spurs upping their game, even Chelsea may get back on track.

Top 6 should be the minimum target, I hope we got 4th, but it'll be tough.
