Spot on Jager, and for the record I agree with those who applaud the gesture to Exeter! Just shows yet again that we are not a team of 'big time Charlies'. Felt the same way when we formed a 'tunnel' and clapped Bradford off the pitch at Wembley. We know where we have come from and respect all teams, above us and below us in the league system. I hope that never changes!
try telling llanelli jacks that. We look stupid supporting an english club when we would not help one of our own to survive. How many llanelli and even neath jacks gave money when we were begging for survival. explain that to the supporters of these clubs.....ridiculous and shows us in a bad light which ever way you look at it. We had the power to help and we let them down so its a right kick in the teeth to now show support to another countries club....
Dai in terms of another country's team, we play in the league pyramid, so does Exeter, there is no countries involved, we are just giving a hand to a club that was us some years ago. We helped Llanelli and Neath over the years, and have played them to help them raise revenues, which is a good thing. But we should not be helping businesses that are being mismanaged, they were both spending money they had no hope of getting returned, spending beyond their means. They were not paying their taxes, which in the eyes of the inland revenue it meant they were a risk to other businesses and had to be stopped, the court agreed with it. From our perspective we don't see the full picture, you say it's only £25k to stop this, but if we paid that where would it stop ? These businesses must stand on their own feet, I thought you'd know that from our experience, how much money did Morgan put into the Swans? Not much as he said we must stand on our own and make it work. The money he did give us was in the form of a loan that had to be paid back. So if he wouldn't give us money, and he owned our club, why should we as a club simply give money away to a club that we had little chance of getting it back. The owners of these two clubs were incompetent they were the ones who brought those clubs down, not us!
"back to normal I see Dai". Are you looking to rekindle the fire, musty? However,if you mean that by exercising his democratic right to air his opinion,to have a point of view which may be at variance with yours,is "normal",then I agree with you.
"he can spout his crap",as distinct from you "spouting" yours,eh? But you didn't "disagree" with him,you simply fanned the flames,"petal".
"we all have opinions",well, you'll get no argument from me on that point. However, you didn't "disagree" with Dai,you simply made a snide comment. "you obviously disagree with mine". When was that?
Some things never seem to change on here. Don't see you doing anything wrong there Musty. Can see both points of view in this matter but I think jäger just about sums it up perfectly. Lets just hope we get a goo result today and not pick up any injuries.
I wonder if Mike Lewis will be going as "honorary guest" of each club? They could put him in the stocks at half time
"some things never seem to change on here". If that remark is somehow aimed in my direction, perhaps you could clarify it. If,however it isn't, then you needn't respond.

"No need for any aggression". Again,if that post is aimed at me,where's the "aggression" in mine? Dreyfus, you like to make throw away comments, but are always loathe,or perhaps unable, to back them up when challenged.
