    Frank/ML. No need to worry about Weil's Disease from a burn. More danger of it from a beer bottle in a pub, because it's spread by rats pish, and you get them in pub cellars <ok>
    Unlikely to be many rabbits on the WHW as it's not the right conditions for bunnies, so no snares required unless you are up for some extreme chokey **** fun !

    staggie - rat and cow piss, which can be found in streams. There are a whole load of other pathogens that can come from untreated water which I wont go into seeing as its lunchtime. More pasta for me, plenty energy for the weekend <ok>

    you shouldnt get any problem from highland burns frank, just make sure you take any water from quite far away from the path in an upstream direction. <ok>

    Frank. Unless the water flow rate is very low, or the rat (rarely cows cause it) piss is very close to where you are drinking, there is little danger of Weil's <ok> May be a few bacterial things on the go but its going to be so ****ing cold all the germs will die off <laugh>

    I drink from burns all the year round , and apart from Typhoid, Rabies and Anthrax have never had any bad effects
