you shouldnt get any problem from highland burns frank, just make sure you take any water from quite far away from the path in an upstream direction.

 

Frank. Unless the water flow rate is very low, or the rat (rarely cows cause it) piss is very close to where you are drinking, there is little danger of Weil's May be a few bacterial things on the go but its going to be so ****ing cold all the germs will die off

 

although i would neccesarily drink the water around milngavie

i drink from burns and rivers up that way anytime 'im in the area.

 

I drink from burns all the year round , and apart from Typhoid, Rabies and Anthrax have never had any bad effects
