Anyone on here getting their GCSE results tommorow?

Myself, I am ****ting it. You get to the stage when you can't remember how much you revised, what you did in the exam and if you are happy with your exam. So ATM im ****ting it and couldn't care less about the Joey Barton situation.

Ha yeah I'm in the exact same position although I still care about this whole Barton thing..

I can't remember how each individual exam went etc etc..
Its a horrible feeling. Are you by any chance going to Scunny after your results?

yes but i'm going to Reading tonight instead <party>

don't mean to sound like a cocky dick but i'm not all that bothered to be fair. I should have done enough to get into the 6th form i want and that'll do me fine

Based on my experiences with getting them last year, just find something fun to do this evening (personal favourite: 6 hour-long music binges + videogames). It's not like there's anything you can do now and even when you get them, they're not final (retakes, remarks, etc)

And above all avoid the QPR website. -.-

COD marathon ftw!

This, had genuinely forgotten about them until yesterday.
Mind has been more on Scunthorpe away on this day than actually getting my results.

It struck me like two weeks ago that they were coming, and then again at 10 am today, I thought, Oh ****, results tomorow.

What are you expecting, good news or bad?

Erm, Good in most, but expected a bad result in music and maybe a bad result in geog and maths - the last two because Im expected A*s in them.

Everyone says that they get told that they don't matter next year, but Im not gonna believe them til it happens.

No, but got my A Level results last week and I was in the same position! I was ****ting it the day before, but fortunately I got the grades to do what I wanted to do at Newcastle uni so it's all good! :D

Good luck to everyone for tommorrow!

Nice, can't be too disappointed then, but know what you mean. Predicted A*s in everything, so will be mocked if I get a B, even though in my opinion a B is still class. Hate expectation!

They don't really matter too much if you're going into Sixth Form. Although, they are the only thing universities can see about you when you apply to them before they can give you an offer.

Haha GCSE students drinking to relax themselves before results day....

Iv been there and in all honestly I look back and GCSEs and realise that although important now, if you go on to do A-levels, then A-levels are much more important.

For one reason or another I got B's and C's in GCSE but then went on to A-levels and got three A's and now at uni doing law... so if you fall slightly short of what you want its not the end of the world!!
