Just looking on line at a playoff final from two of my local non-league teams in the Southern League Premier South, & Scott Rendall was playing for AFC Totton, Sido Jombati was playing for Salisbury, made 45 appearences this season

Portsmouth's manager played for Wycombe. And there are a few more that have done well

The prison on the hill (otherwise known as Hatters Lane)
Ah, I had a few mates from there. Used to play football and cricket down the Rye. The only one whose name I remember was Alan Hutchinson who became a commentator for Wycombe

I think the only chance of that is if he feels he will be playing out the rest of his career, not many teams in higher leagues being interested, and our owner is happy to take a 33 year old

McCleary is still going strong, I would guess it would depend on his injury record, otherwise players do look after themselves far better than did 10 or 15 years ago

A one year contract (possibly 2) with option to extend would be my thought

I would think he would look at coming back to us as a step backwards after playing in the Premier League last season, then again I think I read somewhere he was out on loan & got recalled because of Luton's injuries
