I heard from somebody who was told by someone else that Robinson, Ng and Wintle had contracts guaranteeing them championship wages in League 1 last season but for some reason Wintle’s contract for this season had a different wage structure than the other 2 so he had no negotiating room. No idea though if that actually was the case.
