If there is one thing consistent about referees, its their inconsistency.

Can we honestly say we've seen a good one this season? If so, name him/her.

The female we had for the Wimbledon Vertu Cup game was okay but there was hardly a decision to make - and no Salech up front to be wrestled with!!!

Darren Drysdale for our game at Wigan is easily the best yet this season IMO - I actually thought he was very good at controlling things.

EDIT..............and we won. :emoticon-0105-wink:

It must be a difficult job having to get every decision right, be consistent and to keep concentrating throughout a whole game and also remembering that the fans have come to see the players and not the referee. For me, the old adage that the best referees are the ones you don’t notice is apt.

Totally agree. Unfortunately they are few and far between. Many seem to be attention seekers, e.g. Blobby Madeley and Simon Hooper to kick off with.

Just re-visited the loaned out players and looked back to last year. ***an Walcott was loaned to york, then made the move permenant. 7 goals in 31 appearances. Not bad for a CB.
A move was the right thing. He wouldnt get a look in with us now.
(Malachi) F@gan-Walcott, please if you can remote?
In our woke world I'm reading '***an Walcott ' FFS :emoticon-0121-angry

Pleased for him.......................

I was disappointed we didnt find room for him at the start of the season. I felt his experience would have been invaluable. For whatever reason it wasnt seen to be part of the BBM revolution.
With hindsight, we've been fine without him, with Wintle taking on that mantle. Would Ralls have had any game time. If he did, would it have hampered the progress of others and the collective? As with many things, we'll never know.
We've done well without him. It looks as if hes doing ok without us.

Both excellent strikes as always seems to be the case for them.

Will Alves for Huddersfield tonight in the Vertu Cup.
Saw Wilson and Philogene score some very good goals for us. I particularly remember a brace Wilson got in a crazy 5-5 draw away at Bristol City. :emoticon-0138-think
