Yep, good old Neil Warnock bought him but then didn't have a clue how/where to play him in our side.... I swear to this day he only bought him because he loved winding up the Wurzels - it hadn't been too far previous we'd nabbed Tomlin from them.
Thankfully as far as Reid went we managed to (apparently) recoup what we paid for him when we sold him on to Fulham.
I found it all the funnier as one of my mates is a huge Bristol City fan who'd named their dog Bobby after Reid - he was NOT impressed at the transfer
Sadly Neil was responsible for a LOT of money being wasted - as much as everyone remembers Malky and the Cornelius debacle I think Warnock wasted even more money!!
