Is he virtually now an "ex-player" and a fair subject for this thread?

"Ramsey will be out of contract at Cardiff at the end of the 2024/25 season.

According to Capology, the Wales international is currently earning £50,000, or £2,600,000 for the campaign.

That makes him Cardiff’s highest paid player by £5,000-a-week ahead of Calum Chambers.

There is then a big gap with Callum Robinson taking home £35,000-a-week as the third-highest earner."

Looking at that list there’s some huge differences. One example being Bagan and Simic. Another Goutas and Ralls.

Anyway back to your point, there’s no justification for Ramsey having his contract extended.

Agreed Nin. Pay as you play would be the only viable option.

As for Simic on £20k pw, what the actual feck?

The more I look at those figures the more I question if it’s genuine. Didn’t Colwill sign a new contract not that long ago? If so on half Rhino’s wage? Surely not. Then Ng who surely would be on par with Ralls? O’Dowda likewise.

One could make arguments for and against virtually all those salaries. Can’t be good for dressing room harmony either.
