Both teams play at the GSP Stadium. In 1999 I was driving past when hundreds of fans appeared from nowhere running across the road towards the stadium forcing the traffic to stop. I always said and stand by my point that he runs around like a headless chicken. Get the ball, head down and go for goal never mind other players better placed than him. Had a good season with Direby though. Recently had a Facebook discussion with a Welsh fan who wished Page and Lawrence would bury the hatchet. The guy got upset when I asked which part of Lawrence's body it should be buried in. He felt Lawrence should be back in the Welsh squad but couldn't answer when I asked who would be left out from equivalent style players like James, Wilson, Johnson and Brooks when fit again.
To be fair, if Dan James could learn to finish chances more like Lawrence then I'd be happier. I'm not sure I've seen one player waste so many opportunities since Madine... Oh and Feeney... And Niasse... And Collins
WBA certainly have bought some proven championship quality following Swift and Wallace with Lawrence. Lawrence is a cut above at this level. He arguably should still be in the Wales’ set up.
See my comments above. No chance about Lawrence. Useless when with us and hasn't got much better. I think you missed out the letter n. Who would you replace with him in the Wales squad? In fact up against Swift and Wallace he won't be first choice at West Brom.
