It's an indictment of our system that Crew decided there were better opportunities elsewhere.
Another slips through our fingers.
Where are our 18 year olds? Not regularly around the 1st team squad.
Perhaps that's about to change now that Riza has begun to embed his style into the senior players. I certainly wouldn't have wanted them around the first team when morale was so low. Obviously, being a fan, it can't happen fast enough for me but I'm begining to get the idea that Riza sees the big picture.

Fingers crossed that Riza is involved long enough to at least get us part way through the journey.

I watched the 2nd half. It was quite a dull game.
The magic of the cup has been totally diluted with no replays for lower league/non league clubs drawing away at EFL clubs. Imagine a non league team missing out on a trip to say Arsenal in round 3 because they lost away on penalties in round 2 away from home on penalties without having the chance to play their opponents back at their gaff.

It’s another example of the wedge just getting thinner and thinner.:headbang:

Just watching a documentary about JLloyd Samuel.
5 mins in, Jay Bothroyd is talking. Apparently they were big mates.
He died in High Legh, which is about 6 miles from me.
