Difficult for 'keepers. An outfield player could get a few substitute appearances. A 'keeper could sit on the bench all season and never play a minute. And how about the 3rd choice 'keeper?
It's what Aaron Wainwright did. Up to U16s on city's books, in the Wales U16s squad, then saw the light. Another good game for Wales today.
City have had any number of reserve keepers over the past few decades. Don’t mention Steven Bywater or Dimi the drop but what about this midget?
We'll be seeing Trigger again this season................ https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c03353nzp05o
We’ll be seeing plenty also from Oxford & the snow queens as well as Pompey (Gavin Whyte still there?)
Not sure about this one. Was he one that got away or did we dodge a potential bullet? Having said that, we could do with another LB unless Bagan comes good.................. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c51yp3y33n2o
I liked him when he played for us, although I am not too bothered we haven't signed him. Good luck to the lad
I liked him too. He found Kieffer Moore's head a few times. His crosses from wide left were usually spot on, but if anything I thought he lacked pace for a wingback.
Best as a left wing back in a back 5. Great going forward and an excellent crosser but defensively not so hot. I liked him with us and would have welcomed him back.
https://x.com/ThaiFootballs/status/1807314772100329557 Pity his career didn’t kick on after a decent spell with City
Is Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink part of the England coaching team? I'm sure I just spotted him on their bench.
Another ex City keeper on the move - one for clingo to watch?...... https://www.gloucestershirelive.co....rmer-peterborough-united-cardiff-city-9384905
