While I was taking a shower earlier, I started to rattle a few chants that might be appropriate for next season when Everton come to get thrashed. They were laced with heavy swearing of the sort SKY would automatically turn down the mics on if they were televising a game. I hardly ever swear, but this weekend's subject matter has made it necessary to obtain some satisfaction from the whole thing. Thankfully, my bathroom is well placed to stop sound travelling too far. Anyway, here is: 1. One Judas F***er [or C*** if you prefer, though it doesn't scan as well] There's only one Judas F***er One Judas F***er There's only one Judas F***er 2. S*** Pochettino [or Nigel Adkins, if you prefer, or even Alan Pardew] You're just a s*** Pochettino S*** Pochettino You're just a s*** Pochettino I did have a couple more to a different tune but they've escaped me, at the moment.
We don't need no chips and Mayo, We don't need no Dutch control, No dark sarcasm of our youth setup, Koeman leave our kids alone. "HEY, KOEMAN LEAVE OUR KIDS ALONE"
Never get sung. I used to come up with lyrical stuff like that on TSW, years ago. Never got sung. I'd bet at least one of the two I've just put up DO get sung next season.
How about The Corrs - Never loved you anyway. We could then follow that stupidity by singing "One [insert new manager] etc, etc. lol Or it could be: A V B, Easy as 1 2 3
You'll never get me singing those songs (and indeed I never did for Koeman). 99% of people, players or managers, will always leave if the money elsewhere is right.
Just looking at an article written by Sam Wallace who I think is chief football writer at The Telegraph who says RC has agreed to become new manager of Everton Saints offered to make RC the highest paid manager in saints history Club unaware that he had changed his mind on a 2 year extension to his contract until last Thursday Howe is admired by saints and Emery has been interested in the job in the past and keen to come to the prem saints felt that whatever offer they put to RC Everton would top it and would get into a bidding war Saints surprised RC changed his mind and went to Everton after the assurances they were given Saints are in no mood to go through another sale of players this summer Saints reject suggestion that LR had difficult relationship with RC and that is why he left Emery had talks with Everton before they appointed RC and is very keen to move to English Football Apologies if this has aleady been posted
To the tune of Yesterday: Yesterday, Ronald Koeman told us he would stay, Now it looks as though he'll chase money, Oh, Koeman now you're dead to me. Suddenly, he's not half the man he used to be, There's a shadow over Sammy Lee, Oh, Koeman now you're dead to me. Why choose Goodison? I don't know, is it money? Of all clubs, Everton, Those Scousers long for yesterday.
When Koeman comes out and says that he never signed an extension for us because there was a lack of ambition, I'll say that the club's ambition was good enough for him when he signed 2 years ago.. #wearethekingmakers
Good. Last line doesn't appear to work however which way I try to sing it though. Even amended, will it get sung though.? The Northam bunch are a simple folk, and the rest are asleep. Poor Sadio, when he's not running to the Away fans by mistake, ends up trying to wake the dead after scoring.
Ok, just before the announcement hits us, I need to say that I really bought into Ronald Koeman. I believed his integrity and his honesty and I loved his aura. He was a footballing legend as a player and I had hoped he'd become a legend for us. He did a great job for us. I am only saying this because once the announcement is out, I will batter the lying, cheating, greedy bastard. Graham Taylor was right about him: "Do I not like that (twat)"
