In one statement the Premier League, responding to the criticism from Accrington Stanley's Chairman about the obscene payments taken out of the game by agents and why more is not invested in the remainder of the League structure, show just how totally up themselves they have become.

Flexing their muscles and issuing veiled threats to the smallest club in the EFL, how proud these wallowing fatcats must be of themselves offering a few crumbs to the also-rans. I hope the Stanley Chairman gives them the forthright reply they deserve...
