just maybe it isnt me you need to be worried about?

Ok. Given events and reviewing this post again, why should we be worried that Davis Haigh is leading a take over/ becoming a major investor? (Answer please).

Did Lust produce a mirror and introduce David Haigh to himself?

I not sure I understand the question, why on earth should the club be worried about David Haigh leading or becoming an investor, the bloke has been as good as his word to date, surely you cant ask anymore of him than that?

FTR I agree totally with that. Which is why I am asking:

When you posted the picure of you and Haigh and said "maybe you wern't the one we needed to worry about". What did you mean? In the context of the picture if it wasn't you we needed to worry about it must be him.

If the quote had nothing to do with the picture why post the picture? The cynic in me says you were showing it to prove how influential on LUFC you are.

Given DH is part of the new investment team and you were in the know (the rest of us weren't) you must have meant something. Or were you refering to some other group of investors (Pearson, Verity)?

Here is my opinion:

You were in bed with your fellow Humberside resident Pearson, and you tried to help the process for him and went public about the Radebe/ Pearson / Verity investment. Unbeknown to you Haigh had already got his investment team in place, and by you doing Pearsons bidding you endangered the Haigh plan. That would explain why Verity was not invited to the last home game as was planned would it not?

Other Questions:
What would YOU get out of publicising and aligning LUST with the Pearson/Verity bid, if it had been succesful?

On the fan share scheme:
What influence on anything important would an individual get if they invested say £1000?

If all the fanshare scheme investment amounted a hypothetical £2mill which individual would excercise the power the investment would bring?

Do you expect people to hand over cash for a bit of meaningless paper that says they invested £xx in LUFC but have no say in how things run, given you hope to raise £2mill in total?

Or were you refering to some other group of investors (Pearson, Verity)? the only know I am in is we heard the same rumours about a management buy out as everyone else has heard? I have spoken to DH over the last few weeks to keep him informed of what we had heard amongst other things but he has not made me privy to any information that isn't already in the public domain neither would I expect him too!

That would explain why Verity was not invited to the last home game as was planned would it not? I have known Adam Pearson since January 2012 but have not spoken to him for some time now since the last rumours back at the end of last season. I like Adam but have no involvement in his business activities nor do I seek any so I am afraid my friend your opinion is well wide of the mark, its an interesting conspiracy theory though :-)

Other Questions:
What would YOU get out of publicising and aligning LUST with the Pearson/Verity bid, if it had been succesful? we didn't publicise it, 'The City Talking' did but keep spouting the same ****e you know is incorrect to try and support your agenda mate :D

On the fan share scheme:
What influence on anything important would an individual get if they invested say £1000? you listened to the public meeting broadcast so you already know the answer, the details are yet to be decided upon by our members and any Leeds fan who wants to contribute but £'s will buy no influence at all.
If all the fanshare scheme investment amounted a hypothetical £2mill which individual would excercise the power the investment would bring? once again no individual will decide upon anything nor have more power than any other,
Do you expect people to hand over cash for a bit of meaningless paper that says they invested £xx in LUFC but have no say in how things run, given you hope to raise £2mill in total? no, I expect Leeds fans to want to have a vested interest/stake in the future of their club.
the picture has been photo shopped to include an image of bates spying on the meeting from the offices above subway mate, that's what I was talking about, I cant believe you didn't see that :D :D :D

Was it not the third person in the picture Gh that Gary was referring to

The other questions about fanshare I believe are valid though.

Funny enough I had been in Billys after last Saturdays game and thought those gnome things in the glass cabinets looked like El President and thought that was what was in the photo. Blind Cnut that I am..

Never noticed (not sure many others did either to be fair). you can have that one. ;-)

By answering those questions you have IMO done more good than the squeaking and leaking via press statements and LUST meetings over the last 12 months. I am never going to agree with how YOU run LUST but I can take your points.

Not sure it is realistic for £2mill of investment to have no joined up influence. however I am not your target market, I take the view that by buying a season ticket, following the team largely home and away, buying the merchandise I make a fairly big investment at the cost of other discretionery spends already.

I know you believe the end justified the means but I always felt the boycott you were supporting last year only ever harmed the team. Even though Bates left I still feel this.

But fair play. I gave you pelters, you gave a bit back. You have at least earned some respect from me for coming here and making your case so well even if we aint going to agree about everything. Not sure I would have thought I would ever have said a week ago.

LUST is a supporters TRUST so there are no secrets and if there is a backer they need to be made known. LUST is not a private consortium ... or am I missing something?

probably mate but we all have our cross to bare, would you prefer it if I told the interested party we don't want their money?
