Two things in response to GC:
Instead of saying "that's wrong", try saying "that's wrong because" and put some substance to your answers
You say LUST are looking for a members share scheme ... why would LUST want a mystery backer putting in 50% of the money? You see, then its not a member scheme anymore but rather just another consortium trying to buy into the club

if the investor is a LUST member then whats the difference between them putting in ten quid or ten million quid? its not trying to buy the club its trying to give you and anyone else who would like it an opportunity to buy a stake in the future of your club.
question for you mate, how many investors do you see discussing their ideas before they even decide on what basis the investment will be made, did Ken bates ask anyone about his plans before finalising them? did GFHC? no of course they didnt. LUST has given you that opportunity, will you acknowledge that?
GC ... just stop!! You've NEVER EVER said that your backer is a LUST member, so please don't start this "what if" nonsense now. This response fills me with even more despair as it simply attempts to create doubt rather than give a straight answer. Riddles is not the way to go, I really just want you to get it right GC and make me a LUST believer again.
I NEVER EVER said they were not LUST members either, you just assumed that, so if they are what then?
and if I am answering your questions tonight why not answer mine? if David Haigh turns up at our meeting tonight would you think he is happy with LUST and happy to work with us? if he as owner of LUFC believes LUST is good for the club why do you think he is wrong?
If he does not turn up does that mean he disapproves of LUST?

If he turns up it will be because he wants to engage with the supporters Trust, he will want to listen to the opinions of the wider lust membership and he will want to explain his investment decision. It's a shame that if he turns up he will have wasted his time because he will only get the blinkered view of Cooper and his staunchest allies. Having said that he is receiving plenty of different opinions from people bypassing lust and contacting him directly. To be fair to him he seems to be receptive to ideas other than those aimed at the greater glory of GC. If he does go,listen to what he says GC, especially the bit about being inclusive, been a broad church and no place for the egos of individuals. Then find a quiet movement and ask him if he was meaning you. Then act on the answer.

I take it that you're not aware that DH called in from Dubai at the last meeting and apologised for not being there, as planned. DH's involvement with LUST is not news. It's been happening for a while now. Oddly enough, DH didn't voice any displeasure about LUST. Funny that!
He has since received correspondence from a number of season ticket holders, other long term supporter club members, and other regular match day attenders stating absolutely clearly that although they joined lust GC no longer speaks in their name.
Things change. Dh is a salesman and will schmooze everyone but be sure to listen to the underlying message. It's tone will have changed from last time I guarantee it.
Sadly I won't be able to listen in to perceive such a change, should it happen. All packed up & ready to go. Taken us 24 hours to pack. Mrs Whitejock has excelled herself this time. We each have a luggage allowance of 2x23kg hold & 10kg carry-on luggage. That's 112kg in total for the 2 of us. If my calculations are correct, that's 17st 8lb of luggage (246 pounds, Jonny!). We've had to chuck a load of stuff out as we're well over the limit. Never done so much shopping in my life. Need a holiday to recover! Knackered.

I wasn't debating. I was giving a summary of the gripping responses GC was giving to BS's specific questions.
Even if I was lone debating it beats mass debating
