After being in situ for a few years, 'Bizarreknives' has decided to relinquish his role as a moderator.

Marcus and I believe that 'Blond Bombshell' who expressed an interest in taking on the role a good few months ago, would be a good replacement. He is a very well respected poster, who would like to help to keep our little village as friendly a place as it is now, so it's proposed that the substitution takes place soon. This is unless anybody has any objections . . . . let us know.

I will probably leave this thread for a couple of days to see what we all think :emoticon-0148-yes:

I don’t believe known trouble makers who have previously been banned, would make good moderators.

I will not be making someone a mod who has chosen to have a run in with me. They have to be able to work with the admin team of the site, and Blonde Bombshell has shown his inability to do that. Bizzareknives has only moderated one item in the last four years, so another is not required, but nice try Gordon.

Alternatively people can learn and go on to do a really good job.

Oh well . . . 'brb' is the boss so this isn't going to happen. As he says, a third mod. isn't really needed so I'll ask 'Bizarreknives' if he will stay as he is or stand down anyway :emoticon-0148-yes:

I'll close this thread now 'cos there's no point in it continuing.
