anything tried cannot be a negative move as far as the c/f is concerned, the next home fixture it should be done if any chance of a goal is to happen because its not going to with jozy or scocco imo
Everybody wants to be in the premiership safc83 but if any of our fans actually like watching that ****e week in and week out they need thier heads looking at, in all the years i have watched them there has only been 3 half seasons ( dont count the championship as Roy Keane says you are **** if you are there anyway ) 2nd half under Jimmy Adamson and 2 first halfs under Reidy the rest is just a bad memory. Still love them though lol.
We haven`t seen Ba, Mavrias, Karlsson, Cabral et al yet. On second thoughts I suppose Gus must have. Strewth, I`m starting to depress mesel now.
The reason you might go down ? You signed Altidore I hope Cardiff , Fulham and Palace go down. You beat Leeds in the 73 cup final for that reason alone I hope you stay up. It's sure not over yet .
Also had many previous games that were supposed to be winnable. Games are running out, and every time i read that statement i feel like. please log in to view this image
Our premier league survival is STILL in our own hands. That is the main reason I think we're ****ed! Since the cup final we have not played well. People simply aren;t stepping up to the mark. Is the issue that we have too many who are not used to this in O'Shea etc. He's won far bigger things than a place in the premier league in his career. Wes Broiwn has as well - although he is one who seems to be fighting for the cause. Ki isn't ours and, frankly, has been ****e recently. The cup quarter final made me think we needed him as we missed someone in midfield who could put their foot on the ball... But he has been absolutely terrible since! Borini also isn't ours - but he does seem to care a lot for the fans and how we feel. Would it be worth trying Brown and Vergini on Wednesday - O'Shea has made so many mistakes! Catts and Bridcutt should both play - I still think that if Catts had started on Saturday we would have had more chance of getting something. Maybe not a win but he has this ability to drive the players around him. Bridcutt tries but is still struggling a bit on his own. I don't know! I'm actually losing sleep over it. I bet none of the players are losing any sleep in there £x million pound houses. But it's about time they gave us something back - surely we deserve it. I reckon I have been to over 600 games in my lifetime - yes there have been times when it is far worse than it is now - particularly in the 15 and 19 point seasons and also the Lawrie **** era. But, for some reason, this feels worse
I'd agree with this. I heard on the radio Brown was at fault for the first goal. he wasn't it was O'sheas inability to make the first clearance which gave Brown no time at all in his.....and that's just the start of JOS' constant errors. Catts, Bridcutt and Colback in the middle. We aren't going to be going forward much, but at least they have the tenacity to try and frustrate/break Liverpool down. I just don't want to hear another peep from the players, or Gus, before kick-off.
We just need to hold our nerve. The season is over 38 games not 28. Yes, I accept we have some very hard games coming up. Bringing Wickham back into the mix is a good move and through this you can see how Gus is so frustrated especially subbing two players after 40 mins. We need to find a bit of inspiration....Johnson again seems to have lost his way a bit. We need players from now till the end of the season who are going to put their balls on the plate. Cattt's would be my first choice every game. It's still doable......it's Sunderland and will go right to the last minute against Swansea......sound's a similar scenario....lol?? Let's keep the faith.....!
Just listened to TalkSport where Stan Collymore went through all the remaining fixtures of the bottom teams and potential finishing points totals for the bottom teams and this is what he came up with...... Very interesting...... West ham 39 Norwich 38 Aston Villa 38 Sunderland 36 WBA 35 Swansea 34 Palace 34 Fulham 31 Cardiff 27
Actually we're both wrong! Neither of us took Kevin Ball's two games as caretaker manager into account. Safc83 is the the only one who is right!
Hope Stan is right....my original headline would be proved wrong!!Flaming brilliant....we'll stop up!!!
