Every point counts
So if we don´t trounce
Those whom some might expect us to,
To pick up a draw
Whatever the score
Even if at home, it must do

And to pick up one
Point rather than none
Is always a positive sign,
And with a clean sheet
We´ll never be beat
And goals I´m sure will come in time

Remember last year
How we, at the rear
Were generous to such an extreme,
That just to make do
We´d have to score two
At least, to tie with any team

At least on the day
Chances came our way
Which anyone on here will know,
Keeps the spirits up
In both league and Cup
So I´d hardly call this a blow

We all know full well
After last year´s spell
That there are no ´easy´ games here,
Whatever we get
From whoever´s met
I´ll take it and move on from there

And though the next four
On paper look more
Than tough, being the underdog,
Will suit us just fine
Starting on the Tyne
Our first three points we could log. OTBC

Have a good week all,

Yours :)

Well said RBF! Like you, I'm a "glass half full" person, it's good to see things steadied at the back, the stats show we're creating chances, the results will come given time! <ok>

We did alright would have liked the end to have been Holty Morro and Kane up front with Surman going off as I thought he was about done in but our new boss called it right I think
