Perhaps I've posted this before, perhaps not ... ... but we've all just sang our hearts out, around the BBQ, and laughed a lot, cried a little. I love almost every version of this song but this is my favourite, it reminds me that there really is a connection in the human race and that's often manifested in music ... ... so, whether you sing along alone, with your partner or with a bunch of people you know, just do it. It's liberating and joyful, God knows we need some of both at times.
Ah, man....that was brilliant. Not just the song, but the story he told, the audience participation....just seemed like everything came together. Seems like I've been on full throttle since January with the odd moments to myself to reflect on things....sometimes good, sometimes not so good. At the moment, I can see light at the end of the tunnel.... One of the things I take comfort in is music, it's one of my "escapes" so to speak. Sometimes a bit of music comes along which you connect with, maybe unexpectedly.....that song has done that with me tonight. Thanks for posting that Smug, it was just what I needed. Brilliant.
For anyone who likes Bob Dylan I thought these are both a very good read ... https://www.cityam.com/bob-dylan-documentary-shadow-kingdom-is-a-portrait-of-rare-genius/ https://www.uncut.co.uk/features/bl...age-ultimate-music-guide-to-bob-dylan-142803/ For anyone who doesn't like Bob Dylan ... ... that's a shame, quite a few people do. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_artists_who_have_covered_Bob_Dylan_songs
