Great song. I was going to post the Nina Simone version but the accompanying imagery is horrific, so thought better of it.
28th December, 2015. It was a Monday. I was sitting listening to Motörhead's new album, Bad Magic when I got a call saying Lemmy had died. The track that was on was this one, "Till The End". Lemmy's health had been deteriorating, and these lines resonated..."The one thing you will never lose, is the singing in your head, that will still be with you 'till the end". I'm posting two songs, essentially the same track. The first one "Till the End" as it appeared on the album. The second, an alternative, previously unreleased take, called Greedy Bastards.
I always thought this had a Springsteen vibe to it....he was definately an influence. "Joeys on the street again", from The Boomtown Rats self titled debut album, released in 1977.
My mood going into the playoffs. Just going to try and enjoy it and what will be will be. Go with the flow!
How I feel today Ps. Always loved this song , happier times, and how appropriate for us atm, I would love to hear our crowd put some words to this for our team, that has made me so proud this season whatever the outcome OaU.
