Been watching Patti Smith on Sky Arts, and this song came on. I love this song, but thought I would give a shout out to the bloke who wrote it....

Right, bit of a long one now...
Scorpions - Fly to the Rainbow.
This is taken from their 1978 double live album Tokyo Tapes (my favourite album, ever), recorded at the Sun Plaza, Japan. The images are from 1966 to 1978, from their formation to when the album was recorded.
The first couple of minutes are Klaus Meine on vocals, then the lead guitarist, Uli Roth takes over. The sounds he gets out of that Strat man....just superb.
Stick a pair of headphones on, sit back and have a listen to this.
    "Beg me your time...."

Driving the back roads of Corsica for two months was astounding. The fierce passion and pride was real, impressive and slightly unnerving. You can see it in the faces of these choristers as they sing a song called ... err, Corsica of course.

Been watching Paul Simon on Sky Arts and after a rather poor performance of The Sound of Silence, thought I would post this version by Disturbed.
I posted it before, but love this version....really powerful.

I'm not a big Manics fan, but love this song, especially this live version.
    The lyrics....just superb.

The future teaches you to be alone
The present to be afraid and cold
"So if I can shoot rabbits then I can shoot fascists"
    Bullets for your brain today
But we'll forget it all again
Monuments put from pen to paper
Turns me into a gutless wonder
And if you tolerate this then your children will be next
And if you tolerate this then your children will be next
Will be next, will be next, will be next
    Gravity keeps my head down
    Or is it maybe shame
At being so young and being so vain
    Holes in your head today
    But I'm a pacifist
I've walked La Ramblas but not with real intent
And if you tolerate this then your children will be next
And if you tolerate this then your children will be next
Will be next, will be next, will be next, yeah will be next
    And on the street tonight
An old man plays with newspaper cuttings of his glory days
And if you tolerate this then your children will be next
And if you tolerate this then your children will be next
Will be next, will be next, will be next
