I'm late 30s about have always been into music. I've always enjoyed some country music so naturally got into Johnny Cash at a young age, but more so he's more known stuff. In 2005 I bought a greatest hits album around the same time as the "Walk the line" film came out. Highwaymen came on and I couldn't believe I hadn't heard it before.
I am in my late 60’s and for as long as I remember I have been into folk music, the Blues, a bit of country and a lot of the West Coast Rock bands. I thought I had heard most of the popular stuff in those genres but I had never heard that before, thanks for posting I will add it to my collection
Bit of a long shot here, but if i had a VPN, would I be able to get the US version of youtube? Really want to watch this again...
Pearl Jam and Niel Young are a great fit imo, Vedders calm a perfect example of minimalism in the most unlikely setting.
Love this one by Snow Patrol with Martha Wainwright. They done this live on the Abbey Road series which was superb, but I can't seem to find now. Her voice fits the song perfectly...
