I think I may be on Ashbees ignore list but here goes

New users won't know about the ignore button and unless the users in question either stop writing awful articles or are banned, this is going to be the face of not606 and you won't build up a user face the forum actually deserves.

It's a shame that you won't do it Ashbees.

IrishGreen cheers but I don't feel very rational when it comes to Lorca and Fred to be honest. Whilst they still have their youtube pages running I think they are scum whereas others aren't bothered. That is why I feel I may abuse any power I would have when it came to them.
 
The irony is that you lot are doing the reporting because your jealous of Lorca. I havent reported one thing except AMC's racism. Stop the bullying and jealousism and we'll have fun

I have not written anything racist or had anything removed for racism. I just need to clear that up.
 
I think the point of the thread is that the moderators here don't want to be bothered by petty arguments. Please if anybody is offended by anything, use the ignore poster option and don't turn the threads into slanging matches, its embarrasing to read. I'm not commenting again on this as it feels like I'm wasting my time. Have a good week everybody, and heres hoping that Robert makes a good recovery from his horrible accident.

erm... I have an infraction against my name that was given to me by former moderator Jose Lorca, he said it would only last till last tuesday but I still have it. Not that im planning on getting up to mischief or anything but it just looks bad against my name. cheers

Thanks for all the comments they are appreciated. I am a big football fan and I'm used to the football forums, very different from F1 and without doubt a moderator who understands the sport and is trusted and respected would be a big help. I'm a big belever in self moderation, warnings, deleting and bans are the very last step to me, not the first. I want this to be the best F1 forum around but I cant make it that, only you can by finding the right moderator, using the ignore facility or simply just ignoring the posters who annoy, easier said than done I know. Blatent threats or raciim are easy to deal with because its not allowed and easy to see. Its the wums that are harder for me. On the football forums banter is rife and part of the football scene and ofen its hard to tell were banter stops and wuming starts. Many threads decend into who can insult who the most, not my thing but if all concerned are happy with that then we just let them get on with it. Some of the reported wums I get from here I just cant see because I dont understand the mentality of the sport and its followers, hard to explain but I dont. All I'm asking is that you help me to help you, most of us want the same thing, a very good forum and I dont want that lost because of the very small minority who seem determined to spoil it.

I guess all the F1 arguments come down to 'Lewis Hamilton vs Fernando Alonso', I guess its like 'Arsenal vs Tottenham' in scale of rivalry. Im an Alonso fan myself (and also a spurs supporter) but I know better to enter a LH vs FA argument because if you go looking for hot water your gonna get burnt. But there are those who intentionally go looking to stir up this argument and they are the WUMs. everyone else knows better as they deep down know that both those drivers are as good as each other.

Now there is a fine line because it should be alowed for people to express there feelings for the F1 team they support or driver. But its those who angle in to degrade another driver/team just to get a reaction. It can sometimes get nasty as stereotyping and Racism can enter the argument Lewis is black and Fernando is hispanic and this definatly needs to be stamped out! even comments on eyebrows ;).

Hope this explains the age old argument that causes problems in the F1 boards all over the internet.

Yeah thanks cyprussy. I'm sorry if my comments were brash they weren't meant to be. There are now more good guys than bad on here so you should see an improvement.
