Just sobered up and rationalised today: Away games next season .... some great places that I haven't been to within the last three years:
Bournemouth - could do with more pubs closer to the ground.
Brentford - easy drive.
Wolves - avoid the stewards and the very keen West Midlands constabulary (or take a crash helmet)
....... possibly Peterborough - with the greatest micro brewery pub in the world only 10 mins from the ground!
Add to that list the places within a 3 hour drive:
Derby, Forest, Fulham ... and probably Brum City.
Looking forward to next season already. When is the fixture list out?
Give Ole anywhere near the money that Malky had the previous year and we will get some entertaining footie to watch as well. Back to the top flight soon .... with a 33,000 ground - I never would have believed that 20 years ago. Onwards and upwards - BLooobirds!

Oh God --- I forgot .... we'll be playing in red. That's so annoying that I think I'll give up my season ticket and support Manscum or Chelski instead from my sofa.

Swans fan in peace... (No, really)

If you end up going down (and that is becoming more and more likely), defining your football history by the last 12 months is just stupid. The attitude that you have a few games you haven't been to in Bournemouth and the odd micro brewery (and I really love a micro brewery) to go to is the best attitude you can have.

I am 100% certain that the swans will go down at some point and I will continue to get a season ticket and I will continue to be frustrated and elated when we do what we do. When that happens, I will also try and be big enough to say stuff like the OP (maybe not the Man U/Chelski stuff, lol).

I'm looking forward to next season as well. And not just because my st now works out at £10 per home game.

Not that fussed on Peterboro coming back up (sorry Minxy) but such a long drive. I would prefer Orient to win the play offs as another nice easy trip to London. Park up at North Ealing, tube across town and then a good Indian just by North Ealing (or Ealing Broadway) on the way back.

Be good if Charlton stay up and QPR don't bounce back to the Prem also. Just hope we avoid South Africa Road around bonfire night.

Lots of travelable aways to look forward to. Might struggle with the ticket allocation in a few places though. <yikes>
 
Having to listen to radio wales commentary on away games is the worst thing about relegation.:wink:
 
I've said recently it's all cyclical. Despite the banter I'm sure one day our positions will be reversed. I actually enjoy the Championship even though it's a tough league to get out of some seasons but usually anyone can beat anyone. Makes for an exciting season imo.
