Well yeah it was obvious he wasn't at the real dock because there was actual ground to walk on Everton haven't got that far at Bramley-Moore yet
As a neutral and kind of ignoring the rivalry bit (as I have to admit as a non scouser, I wouldn't understand anyway), I thought it was insightful and could apply equally to any club, when dealing with the expectations of fans and communication in particular. He was bang on the money with the Spurs bit. You can see the construction progress online, but beyond that the silence is deafening.
I didn't watch the whole video mate so I don't know what was said other than at the very beginning and the very end. I don't know anything about Spurs new ground either other than it's still not ready
The fellow in the orange shirt, John I think, was mainly talking about the communication aspect of the new stadium. As someone who has managed large complex projects, I just thought it was interesting.
Ah I see. Not from this video but from what I know generally, I don't think Everton have been keeping the fan base informed on progress with the stadium. There seems to be roughly 50/50 mix of fans saying a) the club are struggling to find the finance to build and b) it's all in hand and they're waiting to do a big reveal. If you're in project management, maybe give them a call
There is no progress. There is no funding. #genius Moshiri comes up with this plan to reduce the interest paid to banks by begging the council for a loan then acts surprised when the banks don't want to offer him finance for the massively increased estimated costs
