They're problems stemmed from them having zero money, having destroyed their FFP budget on ****. Problem is the thick twats would rather blame Rafa for spending a whopping £1.8m or something and blame him for everything than realise it was years of mismanagement previously. And for the record I think Rafa was **** in the transfer market anyway
For every Schar I’ll give you a Grant Hanley or a Mat Selz. Some of our thinking never made much sense. The Murphy deal for example. Wasn't a position we needed to strengthen at the time and with a limited budget blew a massive chunk of it on him
The Murphy signing was a good one at the time, as he was one of the best young players in the Champ, and had a load of Prem teams after him. Rafa was always constrained by Ashley, his Champ signings worked, as they cost less than the sales we made and they got us promoted. Back in the Prem, all he could buy was the likes of Joselu cos Ashley gave him naff all.

They should! They've had incredible backing... just backed by fools. I guarantee they'd be a in a better place now if the fans didn't think they knew better the whole time and kept hounding managers out.
If he plays like he did for the second half of last season he'd save them from relegation and be a bargain at 8.8m Can someone forward that message to their board please? Maybe make it 28.8m though as they don't seem good at getting value.
